Too Much Perfection?

DH and I went to see this movie today. We missed the first couple of minutes because we are perpetually late, but it was easy enough to follow, so no damage done. It was a cute movie. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was funny and very true!

It made for a pretty good date movie. While it is definitely a chick flick, it has enough testosterone (and hot chicks) in it to make it tolerable for the guys.

I am enjoying the challenge of this Project 365 Blog, and I am about halfway finished with the project. But I must admit that lately I've been suffering from writer's block. Which is why, dear reader, you've been subjected to boring blurbs and yawn-worthy youtubes. Sorry.

I hope to resume my usual yammering soon. Until I do, please bear with me. I'd appreciate it.

I can tell you, I look h-o-t tromping out to the barn in these muck boots. I lurve them!

I admit, I do love odd things and these boots definitely fit that bill!

We are entering week two of DH being jobless. He's sent out about 11 or 12 resumes and has had no real bites. It is disheartening. There is one local company that is looking for someone, so he sent in a resume this morning. I have my fingers crossed that something good comes of it. My biggest fear with it is that the pay will be a LOT less than what he was getting previously. However, we'll do what we have to do. Anything will beat the whopping $275 per week for unemployment, right?!?

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that DH finds something soon. I'm tired of having him underfoot all the time!

This week I have been reading Maria V. Snyder's Poison Study and Magic Study. I enjoyed both novels. They were easy reads, each one took me a day to read it. I find myself enjoying the Fantasy genre now more than I have previously. It makes for a nice escape and these two novels definitely provided that.

I had quite a difficult time finding the third novel in the trilogy, but finally I located Fire Study and it is as delightful as the first two novels thus far.

I recommend all three.
